“Top Employer”, “Great Place to Work”, and “Best Employer” are just some of the awards and certificates that JYSK can be proud to have received over the past few months. So far, eight JYSK countries received employer awards.

An employer award is not just something you get. It takes a lot of hard work to make it through the validation processes. Over the past few months, eight JYSK countries have made it through the eye of the needle and received great recognition as employers.

“JYSK has a solid foundation to receive these different awards and certificates, we have many procedures and policies to follow that ensure best practice, also in HR. So, we are of course very proud when we succeed and can see all the great recognition across the JYSK countries,” Camilla Ölander, who is Employer Branding Manager in JYSK, says and continues:

“Also, the awards and certificates put attention on JYSK, which is beneficial. Internally, it may make the employees proud of being part of JYSK, which means they are more likely to stay. Externally, we can use it for recruitment, where it plays a part in attracting new candidates to the jobs,” Camilla explains.

Four-time Best Employer company

JYSK Spain is celebratingFor the fourth time, JYSK Slovakia received recognition as being a Best Employer company. This is possible because the employees showed in a survey their appreciation of the leadership style, the flexibility, and JYSK’s focus on developing their talents.

“I am proud that our leaders on different levels have been recognised in this way for their work. At the same time, I am grateful to my colleagues in the stores that they are building a great reputation for our company at a local level, not only as a company with great offers for our customers, but also as a great job offer for employee candidates,” Slávka Gulánová says, who is HR Manager in JYSK Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Employees are proud to be JYSK

After satisfying results in the annual employee satisfaction survey, JYSK in Spain also decided to test themselves and apply for the “Great Place to Work”-certificate.

“Obtaining the certificate is possible because of the employees. Through their feedback and description of JYSK Spain as an employer, we were able to get certified. The feedback is measured on a “TRUST INDEX”, so we believe that the result is a clear indicator of the employees being proud to be JYSK. The certificate gives us the opportunity to share and celebrate the trust and commitment of our employees with the world,” Belén Quiros says, who is HR Manager in JYSK Spain and Portugal.
