Once again the participation rate was very high in the JYSK Employee Satisfaction Survey (ESS). This shows great engagement, and according to Executive Vice President HR, Jan Verhoek, it also means that our managers have the responsibility to listen.

“We had a participation rate of 94 percent, which is very high, and I am very satisfied with that result. Considering how many countries that participated in the joint ESS survey for the first time, I had not expected so many answers,” says Jan Verhoek and continues:

“With such a high percentage of colleagues answering we can be sure that the answers have a very solid base and are reliable, which makes it easier for us to decide what we should do to make JYSK an even more attractive place to work.”

Huge responsibility

He looks forward to the coming weeks of looking into the answers.

“I look very much forward to look into the answers and get more knowledge about what is good in JYSK, and what can be better. And then we have a huge responsibility to act on it” says Jan Verhoek.

Overall 94 percent of JYSK employees participated in the survey, and all countries had a participation rate of more than 80 percent. In 11 countries and at 2 distribution centers all the employees took the opportunity to speak up by participating in the ESS.
