JYSK’s focus on Best Employer awards is paying off
Being named Best Employer is an important recognition for JYSK, because it makes existing employees proud and attracts our future talents and performers. In recent years, JYSK has won several awards for being a great employer.
When shopping for a product, many people use reviews to help them make the right purchase. When you are looking for a new job, the evaluation of a potential employer might be even more important.
One way to discover which companies are doing better than others is by looking for an award-winning company that has been recognised for their working environment.
In the past few years, JYSK has received such awards in a number of countries, and more are hopefully on the way.
“It really makes me extra proud to work for JYSK when we win awards for being one of the best employers in our field. It also helps us attract the right candidates for our company. As a growing company with the goal of opening a total of 5,000 stores, we are always looking for new talents and performers to continue our success,” explains Camilla Ölander, Employer Branding Manager.
Three years in a row
One of the country organisations in JYSK that was recently awarded a Best Employer award is Czech Republic and Slovakia. This time it was for the third year in a row.
For Milada Czödörová, who is Store Manager in Dunajská Streda in Slovakia, the award is more than just something to brag about.
“My team and I are proud to work for a company that won the Kincentric Best Employer title for the third year in a row. For me, as a Store Manager, it’s also an ace to have up my sleeve when recruiting because exceptional people want to work for exceptional companies,” Milada says.
Recognition in Hungary
Another JYSK country that has won a similar award is Hungary. Here, Store Manager Brigitta Arany from Corvin Plaza City Store thinks JYSK has earned the recognition.
“As a Store Manager, I believe that team spirit and mutual loyalty makes JYSK very attractive and unique in Hungary. The award supports us in making our strong company culture and values visible for everyone on the labour market based on external criteria. External evaluation is crucial for our young employees, and they are so proud to work at JYSK,” she says.
