One day in JYSK: Three colleagues share their workday (January 2023)

With more than 30,000 colleagues across many different countries, no two workdays are the same in JYSK. We asked three colleagues to share their workday.

Lejla Puzić-Ramani, Store Manager from Bosnia-Herzegovina

Lejla 1 — The first thing for my team after arriving at work is to make sure that store is 100% ready for our customers. Everything must be in its place, orderly, full shelves with highlighted prices.

Lejla 2 — Sales and service training with my team. Training, training and more training leads to the best sales people.

Lejla 3 — Working with customers. An individual approach and communication with customers are a big part of my working day.

Simon 1 — Planning is an important part of a Store Manager’s work. I am planning a new period in Timeplan, which has to be ready several weeks ahead. It is important to incorporate all shifts, holidays, trainings and workshops into the Timeplan.

Simon 2 — Today is the shipment day, which entails unloading pallets, stocking up the goods and filling the shelves in the store.

Simon 3 — Our store is is located in a big shopping centre, where most customers arrive later in the afternoon. I check the top-5 products before the peak hour to make sure the store is prepared for customers.
