In six weeks, JYSK’s Executive Management Team visited around 60 stores in 15 different countries to meet hundreds of colleagues.

These visits are all about listening to and learning from the dedicated store employees who play a crucial role in making the JYSK stores shine every day and delivering great service to our customers.

“This creates an open dialogue with our store colleagues about how our concepts are implemented locally and how we can keep improving for the future,” says Mikael Nielsen, Executive Vice President Retail.

Improvement opportunities

This year, the team visited around 60 stores in 15 countries over six weeks, where they explored everyday life within JYSK stores, discussing initiatives and successful practices with the aim of improving the stores and customer experience.

Two of the countries visited were Sweden and Finland.

“Being close to our stores and customers is part of our JYSK DNA. Field visits like these allow us to learn together, share ideas, and uncover ‘hidden’ opportunities and new strategies as one strong JYSK team – both locally and globally,” says Kenneth Andre Skjoldborg Pedersen, Head of Retail for JYSK Sweden and Finland.
