If you had the chance to ask a colleague from another country three questions, what would you ask about?

By Marie Holm Kjærbølling, Communications & CSR Assistant

Katharina Vilmar: What do you focus most on in the store

Lindsay Iguidez: Besides the challenges we meet everyday, we are always focused on ensuring that the store looks good for all of our customers, regardless of whether they are regulars or someone who is visiting us for the first time. I always want the customers to leave the store feeling positive. I love meeting our regular customers and asking about their previous purchases. It gives it a personal touch that most retail stores can’t offer.

Katharina Vilmar: What are your greatest challenges during the garden furniture season?

Lindsay Iguidez: Our store is located on Canada’s west coast, where the weather can be extremely changeable. We have got the nickname “Raincouver” because of it. So it can be a challenge to make sure that our presentation always appears like it does in the catalogues, no matter what the weather. For example, we have just had three days where the temperature went up above 25 degrees, and now at time of writing it is just 15 degrees and raining.

Katharina Vilmar: What is your current favourite product?

Lindsay Iguidez: I don’t think I can point out one individual product, but right now I think that we have a good selection of patterns on our bedding. We have a line of cotton bedding with loads of patterns that suits a great many of our customers - there is something for every taste.
