DÄNISCHES BETTENLAGER turns JYSK: First JYSK sign in Germany
- This autumn DÄNISCHES BETTENLAGER changes name to JYSK in Germany. The project is now going into the final phase with change of logos in around 970 stores, the distribution centres and in the Regional Head Office in Handewitt.

JYSK builds 10th distribution centre
- In Spring 2022, JYSK will begin construction of a new distribution centre in Lelystad, Netherlands. The distribution centre will be number 10 in JYSK and should be operational in 2024.
Busy times at JYSK’s distribution centres
- The number of stores in JYSK grows, and so does the distribution centres. The construction of the distribution centre number 9 in Ecser, Hungary, is progressing as planned, and in other distribution centres much is going on too.
JYSK’s handymen will have their hands full
- More than 2,000 store activities are planned in the coming years, and the E-Team is involved in every activity. Therefore, the E-Teams are growing in several countries.
JYSK’s focus on Best Employer awards is paying off
- Being named Best Employer is an important recognition for JYSK, because it makes existing employees proud and attracts our future talents and performers. In recent years, JYSK has won several awards for being a great employer.
Weekend trip at stake: The best Sales Attitude in JYSK will be decided
- When June begins, so does the Sales Attitude Competition. The competition will run for three months and all JYSK stores over the world will compete about having the best numbers. The winner store in each country will go on a weekend trip.
CEO at strategy kickoff: “Store Managers are more important than top management team”
- At the annual strategy kickoff, President & CEO of JYSK, Jan Bøgh, set the direction for the next financial year and highlighted the importance of Store Managers.
New store concept is being tested in Berlin
- On 10 May, the prototype of a new store concept SC3 Compact opened in Berlin. The concept will be the solution for smaller stores with an ideal location without the possibility to expand.
