- On Friday, 14 October 2016, JYSK opened its 200th store in Poland in the town of Jarocin.
- The first JYSK store in Georgia opened up its doors in the capital Tblisi on 1 October 2016.
International career paths in JYSK: Nikolaj Jensen – From Denmark to Norway
- Nikolaj Jensen started as a sales trainee in Aarhus, Denmark. One week later, after having passed the professional exam, he was sitting on a plane on his way to Norway.
- In June Henning Kristiansen, District Manager for JYSK Norway, took part in Norway’s longest cycle race, Styrkeproven (“Test of Strength”).
- Malta became the 42nd country on JYSK’s world map when the first JYSK store on the island opened on 22 July 2016.
- The goal of having stores in all European countries will be one step closer when JYSK opens in Belgium in April 2017.
JYSK colleagues teambuilding to the top
- On 16-17 June, 26 colleagues from CZ/SK from the head office in Prague embarked on their annual hiking trip to the top of the highest mountain in the Czech Republic.
