The Grey Orange Warehouse is a robotic storage and picking system used to optimise manual picking in a warehouse environment, which was implemented in JYSK.

During implementation, IT made sure that the processes of Grey Orange Warehouse were integrated seamlessly with other processes in, for example, the SAP Warehouse Management system.

“It was necessary with a creative approach to how we could implement Grey Orange processes and integration with SAP, since Grey Orange did not communicate like other Warehouse Management Systems normally do. This project is just one of many ways we, in IT, are part of making solutions, which make the daily life easier and efficient,” Bent Jakobsen says, who is Senior SAP Logistics Consultant in JYSK.
