If you had the opportunity to ask a colleague from another country three questions, what would you ask?

Dong Fengqing, who is Store Manager in Wuxi City in China, decided to send his questions to Croatia where the top Store Managers were recently awarded with company cars, including Tomislav Ilija, who is Store Manager in Zagreb.

Dong: "What has been your greatest sales experience in the recent financial year?"

Tomislav: "During the past financial year, our store has achieved top results in almost every area. We experienced the biggest sales per receipt during the garden season for which we were very well prepared. We especially sold a lot of garden furniture for restaurants and coffee bars."

Dong: "What does it mean to you to be rewarded with a company car and what do you think of the concept?"

Tomislav: "To be rewarded with a company car is really a great honour for me. I was very surprised when I received the keys for the car at the Store Manager meeting in Zagreb – I did not imagine leaving the meeting with a new car.

I use the car every day for business-related and private purposes. My girlfriend is also very pleased because now she has our old car to herself.

I think a reward like this is a great way to motivate employees to work for further development. I recommend all of my colleagues to fight and pursue their goals."

Dong: "What are the most beautiful places to visit in Croatia?"

Tomislav: "In the summer time, I would recommend visiting our coastline, which is considered one of the most beautiful coasts in the world. I think the most beautiful places in Croatia are the city Dubrovnik, the islands Hvar, Brač and Vis and the region Istria.

I live in Zagreb and if you visit the city during Christmas, I would recommend going to the Christmas market, which has been awarded as the best Christmas market in Europe."
