JYSK recognised for supporting parasports in Romania
JYSK has received the award for the best company in supporting Paralympic sports in Romania at the first edition of Sports Business Awards Gala. Raluca Dascălu, Communications Manager of JYSK, accepted the trophy:
"We support Paralympic sport because we believe that athletes with disabilities are a great example of motivation and ambition. If you listen to the stories of para-athletes, and I invite you to do so, I assure you that you will also be motivated to be more active," said Raluca.
JYSK chooses responsible forestry
In keeping with tradition, JYSK in Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden participated in the celebration of the world’s forests during FSC® Week 2024. With the theme “You are what you choose”, this year’s campaign focused on the big and smaller choices we all make in our daily lives and what we pay attention to when using wood and paper.
Best Swiss Employers for the second time in a row
JYSK Switzerland has been recognised as one of the Best Swiss Employers 2024 by HANDELSZEITUNG and Statista for the second year in a row. This year, the country achieved 4th place in the retail category and 23rd place overall.
JYSK Spain gets ready for outdoor season
On a terrace in Valencia, with the Mediterranean Sea in the background, JYSK Spain invited journalists, influencers, and B2B clients to the launch of this year’s outdoor/garden collection. At the event, the guests enjoyed presentations of the new trends for the spring-summer season as well as a flower arrangement workshop.
JYSK presents first urban orchard in Croatia
On 8 April, JYSK presented its first public urban orchard in the city of Velika Gorica, Croatia. The project received support from the Embassy of Denmark, with Milan K. Jha, the Diplomat and Secretary of the Embassy of Denmark in Croatia, taking part in the planting ceremony. The orchard will feature a total of 94 seedlings of different varieties of fruit trees and bushes, such as blueberry, apple, and cherry. This spring, 48 seedlings will be planted, with the remainder to be planted in autumn. Citizens will have free access the pick fruit from the orchard.
