Every month, many new JYSK stores open their doors to customers around the world. Here you can find an overview of where and when JYSK stores are expected to open this month.

Expansion has been a part of JYSK’s DNA ever since JYSK founder Lars Larsen opened the first store in Denmark, in the city of Aarhus, in 1979.

Since then, the number of stores has increased from one to more than 3,600 in 50 countries around the world, providing customers with a great Scandinavian offer within sleeping and living.

In March, JYSK plans to open 18 new stores in 10 different countries.

27/02/2026 - Decorating outdoor spaces as if they were an extension of the living room is becoming increasingly popular. This trend is reflected in JYSK’s garden assortment, where lounge sets, sofas, and large dining tables are highlighted in the outdoor environment.

JYSK Ukraine has expanded with 28 stores since February 2022

4 years of war and almost 30 new stores: JYSK Ukraine continues to move forward

24/02/2026 - Despite missile attacks, damaged infrastructure, and disrupted supply chains, expansion has continued thanks to JYSK employees’ great efforts. When Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022, JYSK had 85 stores in Ukraine. Four years later, the store network has grown to 113 including a web shop.
