Success in Morocco leads to first internal promotions
After just six months in Morocco, the first four JYSK colleagues are ready to take the next step in their careers and meet new possibilities within JYSK.
In April 2025, JYSK opened its first stores in Morocco. The opening marked a significant milestone as the 50th country in JYSK’s history, and it was celebrated in true Moroccan fashion with music and traditional dancing.
Since the opening, customers have been flocking to the two stores in Casablanca.
“Customers like our products, and the stores are performing really well. There is a great attitude throughout the organisation, and I want to thank all colleagues for taking such good care of our customers and making the opening a success,” says Igor Raić, Country Director at JYSK Morocco.
Great career opportunities for employees
The successful first six months have now led to the first internal employee promotions in Morocco, spanning across Retail, Logistics, and Customer Service.

Badr Naciri
Badr Naciri will move from Store Manager at Aeria Mall to District Manager, following the completion of his training as District Manager Trainee.
“Becoming a District Manager is a great opportunity to have a broader impact, support more stores, and contribute even more to JYSK’s growth in Morocco,” says Badr.
“From day one, I’ve felt trusted and empowered to take responsibility and make decisions. I’m motivated to give my best and continue developing both myself and the teams I lead,” he adds.
Nisrine Kesbaji
Moving from Sales Assistant to Deputy Store Manager at Aeria Mall, Nisrine Kesbaji is looking forward to the opportunities and trust that come with the new role.
“I'm happy and thrilled to work for a company that believes in me and makes me feel like I belong here. The proof is that my colleagues and managers had faith in me and gave me the opportunity to progress from Sales Assistant to Deputy Store Manager,” says Nisrine.
Ahmed-brahim Bouriqui
As the new Logistics Responsible, Ahmed-brahim Bouriqui oversees the Dark Store in Casablanca, ensuring products are safely and efficiently supplied to the stores in Morocco as well as to online customers.

Sayaf Slimani is taking the next step from Customer Service Supporter to Team Leader. He is proud of the recognition and motivated to continue growing and supporting his team to deliver the best results every day.
