Update from our CEO: Great results across JYSK
Dear all,
We are now well into the second half of the financial year 2024/25, and we are seeing great results across JYSK where we are welcoming a record number of new customers to our stores and we are beating turnover records, not only on our total turnover, but also on store reopenings and new store openings.
In a tough market, we are gaining market shares by ensuring full focus on our GREAT Scandinavian offers.
My Executive Management Team and I thank you all, both in stores, at our DCs, and Head Offices, and we congratulate you on the fantastic results.
#CustomerFirst mindset
Due to the global uncertainty and unstable political landscape at the moment, customers are even more careful with how they spend their money. Our price points and great offers make it easier for customers to decide to invest in new furniture, a new mattress or a nice flower vase, and we need to keep up our #CustomerFirst mindset to continue the great momentum we are delivering.
Garden season is on!
This year, we have upgraded our garden furniture collection, so it is more contemporary with lighter colours and different materials. We are looking very much forward to seeing how the season goes as our garden furniture sales are very important for the overall results in JYSK. We believe we have a great assortment for you to sell.
Investments in expansion
Despite the global unrest, expansion is still part of our DNA, and we have big milestones to celebrate. Last weekend, our franchise department opened the first JYSK store in Uruguay, and in a few weeks, we will open our first stores in Casablanca, Morocco. Both South America and Africa are new continents for us, and we are looking forward to seeing how customers here welcome our Scandinavian design and products.
We continue our investments in Unified Commerce (UC) roll out, and going forward, we will also invest in more IT solutions across JYSK, including our website, and in expanding our DC and supply chain setup to meet our increasing sales and number of customers in our stores.
