If you had the opportunity to ask a colleague from another country three questions, what would you ask?

Store Manager Pasquale de Boer (left) from the Netherlands asks Retail Store Supporter Peni Fameli from Greece three questions.

Pasquale: “What are your biggest challenges in Greece?”

Peni: “Right now JYSK is a new brand in the Greek market, so our biggest challenge is to be number one.”

We want our stores to be 100 percent JYSK and give the customers a great shopping experience.

Pasquale: “What do you sell most of in Greece, furniture or garden furniture? What does a normal workday look like in Greece because of the warm climate?”

Peni: “We sell more indoor furniture but we are also selling a lot of garden furniture – our good climate helps a lot.

In Greece, the weather is really hot during summer, so we have to avoid staying under the sun for many hours. Besides that it is just a typical working day for us.”

Pasquale: “If I visit Greece for a holiday, what would you recommend I do there?”

Peni: “There are so many places that you can visit in Greece during the whole year. You should definitely visit Athens and go to the Acropolis to see the Parthenon. During summer you can go on a cruise to visit the Ionian Greek Islands.”
