#GOJYSK gives a look behind the scenes
Since the launch of #GOJYSK, more than 1,800 posts have been shared by JYSK Nordic colleagues across the world giving everyone a chance for a look behind the scenes.
Last year, #GOJYSK on Instagram was introduced as a new way to share pictures from the everyday life in JYSK Nordic through photos and short videos.
Simon Holm, who is Store Manager Trainee in the city Ringkøbing in Western Jutland, Denmark, is one of the employees who uses the hashtag when posting pictures from his daily life in JYSK.
“I often use the hashtag when we do something special at work or have social events. It is a way to show what a great workplace JYSK is,” says Simon.
For example, Simon shared his joy and posted a photo on the day he got the message that he had been accepted to the Store Manager Trainee programme.
“I follow the hashtag myself and I think it is fun and inspiring to see how my colleagues do things differently in other countries,” says Simon.
A look behind the scenes
David Ashton, who is Country Manager in JYSK UK, is very active on Instagram. He posts pictures using the #GOJYSK to share a look behind the scenes with his network.
“I like to share what I do in my job as a Country Manager because that is JYSK culture for me – no barriers because of hierarchy. Most of our colleagues work in our stores and they do not see for example when we visit new potential locations, travel to meetings or prepare for a new store opening,” says David.
David believes that #GOJYSK supports the JYSK culture and he encourages his colleagues to use the hashtag.
“I have had many ideas for JYSK UK from seeing what is happening elsewhere in the JYSK world. I also like to see a personal side of the people that work in JYSK. By posting photos with #GOJYSK, I get to show my colleagues that I am more than a Country Manager. I also enjoy going to the gym, hiking and travelling for example,” says David.
Proud of JYSK
Photos with #GOJYSK is posted on the employee’s personal Instagram profiles. This means that when JYSK colleagues use the hashtag, not only does it allow other colleagues to see the photos, friends and family in their personal network will also see the photos.
“I am very proud of working in JYSK and of my colleagues. I love to share photos of our teams being engaged and excited about their work. Or when I get excited about a new article we have added to the assortment – what is not to love. I want my friends, family and connections to see how great it is to work at JYSK,” says David.
