JYSK Sweden became the seventh country on the JYSK map when the first store opened in Malmö 1991. This September, when JYSK Sweden celebrated 28 years on the Swedish market, the first store moved and reopened in a new location in Malmö.

Mikael Nielsen, now Executive Vice President Retail for JYSK, was the first Store Manager in JYSK Sweden and when he visited the opening in September he brought the Swedish Country Manager, Johan Sjödin, with him on a walk down memory lane - from the first Store Location to the brand new Store.
