In a busy and crowded city that does not encourage people to rest, it can be hard to find a space for relaxation.

David Zalesky comes with a solution for that by designing an offline car for meditation and short naps. David asked JYSK for help with equipping the van with sleeping products  – mattresses, bed linen and pillows.

The premiere of the Kei-Van Offline project took place during Gdynia Design Days Festival on 6 July. The festival lasted for nine days, and on one of the days, participants could test the car, going inside for a nap or meditation sessions.

Road trip in August

"The decision to support this unique project was obvious to us. Together we have selected products that are durable, functional and in a minimalistic design. The common values that guide us, such as modesty of form, accuracy and credibility, and the principle of slow life, have made us trust in each other. In this way, our idea has resulted with the beautiful effect,” says Aleksandra Chalimoniuk, PR and Communications Manager.

The van includes a bed, clean bed linen and an effectively blacked-out and soundproof wooden interior. The car can also be used for trips to the countryside. In August, the car will go out on the streets of Warsaw.

“We hope that Kei-Van Offline will be more and more popular among city dwellers,” says Aleksandra.
