Soon all store colleagues will have received the new polo shirts, which has been a wish for some time.

As the summer peaks all over Europe, the remaining store colleagues, which have not yet received their new polo shirts, can look forward to enjoy their new clothing.

That is the promise from Category Manager Goods Not For Resale, Jacob Marinus Jørgensen.


“Unfortunately, there has been some delays at our supplier, which means that not all countries have received the polo shirts. That is of course very unfortunate, but I am happy to say that the last polo shirts should be on the way,” says Jacob Marinus Jørgensen.

Polo shirts have been a big wish from JYSK store colleagues for some time, and they have been well received in the stores so far.

Gorm Milthers, who is Administrative Responsible in the store in Tilst in Denmark, shares the enthusiasm.

“I enjoy the new polo shirts and I have worn it since we received them. It is comfortable to wear and very practical and easy to keep clean. For example when I move products in the in the stock room, the polo does not get dirty so easily and that is nice when I go to help customers in the store afterwards,” says Gorm.

Trainee in Tilst, Amanda Adelfred, is also happy with the new workwear.

“I switch between shirt and polo shirt but I think it is nice that we can choose ourselves. The polo shirt is nicer to wear because it is softer and there is more space.” 

Besides the polo shirts, JYSK will also introduce new shirts.

"This has also been a wish from many store colleagues, and I hope that they will like their new shirts, which have been improved in two ways. Partly by changing the fit, which means that they will hopefully be more comfortable to wear and look better, and partly by increasing the content of cotton, which makes them more comfortable to wear. Especially when it is hot,” says Jacob Marinus Jørgensen.

The new shirts will gradually replace the current ones, as they are gradually changed.
