Implementation of UC

JYSK has taken another big step towards achieving omnichannel, having successfully implemented Unified Commerce in all its French and Austrian stores.

The integration of Unified Commerce in France and Austria marks a significant milestone for JYSK in both countries, with store teams now equipped with more efficient tools, while customers will benefit from a smoother and more flexible shopping experience.

In France, the implementation only started at the beginning of the new year and has been the fastest rollout so far. Customers in France and Austria now get to enjoy an improved shopping experience, where one of the key benefits from the system is that employees will have more time for each customer, ensuring the best customer service.

“Unified Commerce is a completely new world for our French stores. Everything is in one system and fully digital, which means we can work more efficiently. It guarantees that the store employees have all the information on hand through their store phones instead of having to go to the store computer, resulting in more time spent with the customers,” says Shanna Hoefnagels, Retail Manager in France & Belgium.

Continuing the path to omnichannel

France and Austria now join Denmark, Turkey, Portugal, and Spain as the JYSK countries to have fully implemented Unified Commerce. The work in France and Austria has been a particularly valuable learning experience ahead of continuing the rollout in other countries.

"The rollout in France and Austria has been a great success, and our colleagues in France and Austria have been outstanding. This was our fastest rollouts yet, demonstrating significant improvements in our processes – an important factor for the continued implementation of Unified Commerce. We have learned a lot from our work with France and Austria, and each country to fully implement Unified Commerce is a major achievement,” says Karsten Ellehauge Haag, Program Manager IT.

The next countries to implement Unified Commerce this year will be Morocco, Switzerland, Germany, and Italy.
