Administrative Responsible Stefan Iliev from Bulgaria has chosen to share a typical week in his life through pictures and short descriptions. Stefan works in a JYSK store in Burgas.

MONDAY

Monday we receive a delivery from the Distribution Center in Radomsko. I take care of the administrative part during the early morning. Afterwards, my colleagues and I start to unload and unpack the goods.

Monday

TUESDAY

Today is the annual JYSK party in Bulgaria, where all employees gather. I think all my colleagues are great and we have so much fun together at the party. I hope that the JYSK Bulgaria family will be even bigger next year – like the expression ‘the more the merrier’.

Tuesday

WEDNESDAY

Wednesday is my day off. I decide to spend the day with some friends playing video games.

Wednesday

THURSDAY

Today we start by making some slight improvements in terms of appearance of the store by inserting dividers. After that, we continue with the daily tasks and helping our customers.

Thursday

FRIDAY

Today I spend some time with one of my newest colleagues. As Administrative Responsible, my job is to help her with the tasks on the cash register, so she can start working alone at the cashier.

Friday

SATURDAY

At the end of the week, we make an inventory check. Today, my team and I take care of the bed linen section. We do the inventory check before the store opens so we are ready for our customers.

Saturday

SUNDAY

Today I travel from Burgas to Sofia where the second part of the Store Manager Trainee program takes place. We spend the day discussing Stock Management. It is very useful and gives us some things to think about.
