Slovakia opening

In October 2006, JYSK opened the first store in Trencin, Slovakia. Even though the pavement outside the store was not completed, enthusiastic Slovak customers overran the store.

Store 2,000 in Norway

In the northern part of Norway, JYSK is also present, and in September 2012, JYSK opened store number 2,000 in Leknes on the island group of Lofoten.

On the opening day, JYSK gave away 2,000 free pillows for all the customers and two JYSK mascots visited the store.

Handbook

A new improved handbook called the Visual Merchandising catalogue was launched. The catalogue guides stores on how best to present products in a more attractive way and, thereby, to increase sales. GO JYSK went behind the scenes at the photoshoot for the new catalogue.
