JYSK Italy reached 102 stores – how is it to be a member of club 100?
With the recent openings of stores in Olbia, L’Aquila and Nocera Superiore, on 11 April 2025, JYSK Italy has surpassed 100 stores – a big milestone for the team and for the country that opened its first JYSK store in 2009.
On 11 April 2025, JYSK Italy opened three stores in one day and by that reached 102 stores in total. Now there is a JYSK store in all of Italy's 20 regions.

Matteo Bellu – Store Manager, JYSK Olbia
For Matteo, being part of store opening number 100 felt like accomplishing something significant.
“Being part of the 100th store opening was truly exciting. We welcomed many happy customers, and the response was very positive,” says Matteo.
The Italian customers in Olbia which is located in the northern part of Sardinia are already embracing JYSK’s products – but one category seems to stand out.
“Our mattresses have been popular. Customers often tell us how satisfied they are with the comfort and quality,” says Matteo.

Serena Cialdella – District Manager, L’Aquila
For Serena, the opening of JYSK store number 101 in L'Aquila was not only a professional milestone but also a personal one.
“I felt very lucky and excited to be part of our JYSK history in Italy. It was my first store opening as a District Manager, and I am happy that we delivered good results with many customers coming to the store,” says Serena.
Serena has been with JYSK for five years and knows what the customers want.
“Customers are discovering more and more of our assortment. They especially like our indoor and outdoor furniture – and they love our mattresses,” says Serena.

Rosario Longobardi – Store Manager, JYSK Nocera Superiore
Rosario, who joined JYSK in January 2025, was overwhelmed by the number of customers on the opening day of store number 102 in Italy.
“We had a strong turnout in the first hours. Many customers complimented the layout and interior of the store,” says Rosario.
Rosario has already seen clear patterns in product preferences in the store in Nocera Superiore, which is located just south of Naples.
“Sofas, tables, indoor chairs – and outdoor furniture are all popular. Customers love the Nordic-inspired style and the practicality of our designs,” says Rosario.
