JYSK introduces two new design directions for 2026
The new year brings fresh perspectives as JYSK unveils two new trend briefs for its spring/summer 2026 assortment.
Known for its modern and Scandinavian-inspired assortment within sleeping and living, JYSK continues to provide customers with a relevant assortment for every room in the home and garden. For the spring/summer 2026 season, JYSK presents two new trend briefs, named Raw Beauty and Renewing, which will set the tone for the upcoming trends.
“We want to inspire our customers with a wide range of products that fit the needs of different generations. This season, we are working with two new trend briefs called Raw Beauty and Renewing. Both tell the story of how you can renew and reshape your space, drawing inspiration from the earth, sea, and sky,” says Rikke Blæsild, Range and Design Manager at JYSK.
Rawness of the earth
JYSK’s assortment within Raw Beauty reaches beneath the earth and includes organic, raw shapes such as the OTTO vase inspired by water and minerals, the textured VILHELM vase, or the SEVERIN plant pot crafted from seagrass.
“The theme is a celebration of the hidden beauty of the earth. It is about respecting nature’s powers and bringing its simplicity and beauty into the home,” says Rikke.
Soft contrasts appear in the velvet ERTEVIKKE cushions in a new aubergine colour, while other colour trends such as dusty blue and petrol blue inspired by the sky feature in the HALLON cushion and reversible MARION bed linen.
Renewing the classics (with apple and grape)
For the Renewing assortment, colours like apple green and dusty grape are introduced across furniture and homeware. Highlights include the BYNKEL mirror with a dusty purple frame and the organic decorative bowl BJORK in green.
“Renewing revisits the classics and introduces new colours and playful, organic shapes that work across seasons,” says Rikke.
These colours extend to articles such as HOLME candles in a trendy hexagon shape, the LUCAS plant pot, and the foldable SERUP side table with a reversible top. The reversible feature also appears in textiles like NIKOLINE bed linen and the LAVENDEL quilted blanket decorated with retro floral prints, which will be a key trend for spring.
Introducing materials such as steel and metal, Renewing brings an industrial feel to the home with elements like the chrome candlesticks ADRIAN or THYGE decoration tray. The reflective surfaces create striking contrast in articles like the DAVINDE puff, adding a playful touch to any space.
The first launch of JYSK’s spring/summer 2026 assortment will be available in JYSK stores and online from January 2026.
