Polish cities affected by floods get helping hand from JYSK
To aid citizens of the two flooded Polish cities Kłodzko and Nysa, JYSK sent two trucks of products, including duvets, pillows, mattresses, and towels from the JYSK distribution centre in Radomsko to both cities. JYSK Poland also stayed in close contact with affected employees to ensure their health and safety.
JYSK named Best Retail Chain in Belgium
JYSK has been elected by consumers as the Best Retail Chain in Belgium in the Home category. The evaluation was based on criteria such as price, product range, friendliness, expertise, ease of purchase, and presentation. JYSK achieved excellent results in all these areas.
JYSK Spain celebrates opening of the 150th store
In September, JYSK Spain celebrated having opened 150 stores in Spain with a big event consisting of more than a hundred guests, including customers, media, influencers, and decoration professionals. During the event, there was time to reflect on JYSK’s successful 15-year history in Spain and the unveiling of the new INDOOR collection.
Community projects in Romania receive awards
Two community investment projects in Romania, carried out by JYSK, received the Gold Recognition distinction in the 2024 Community Index ranking. The JYSK Forest in Roșia Montană and the Friendly Cities research, sponsored by JYSK, were the two projects that received the Gold Recognition awards.
JYSK Distribution Centre in Bulgaria celebrates five years of successful operation
On 12 September 2024, JYSK Distribution Centre in Bulgaria, which serves 10 countries including Bulgaria, Greece, and Türkiye, celebrated five years since the official opening. The anniversary was marked by a special event for the employees and a tree planting activity on the premise of the distribution centre.
JYSK donates to local organisation at store opening in HUngary
The company once again supported a good cause with a store opening in Budapest on 28 August. During store openings, JYSK, with the help of customers and residents, selects a local organisation to receive a 500,000 HUF JYSK voucher as a gift. This time, the winner was the 13th District Disaster Management and Civil Guard Association, which aims to increase the safety of the local communities.
