Around the world: Garden events

Every now and then, we round up recent events and activities from some of the JYSK countries.

During spring, JYSK has hosted fun, festive, and unique garden events to showcase this year’s outdoor assortment. Journalists, influencers, B2B partners, NGO partners, and other guests have been able to admire and try the new garden furniture and participate in entertaining activities at the different events held around the world.

A floating venue in Greece

JYSK Greece’s event took place at the PLOES floating venue. As the sun set, the outdoor lighting from JYSK created a cozy atmosphere.

Garden party at the Danish Embassy in Romania

The Danish Embassy in Romania was the location of JYSK’s garden party. The guests admired the new collection and learned about the Scandinavian summer from the event’s two speakers Uffe A. Balslev, Ambassador of Denmark in Romania, and Martin Fyn Aamand, Head of Communications and PR in JYSK.

Garden exhibition in Hungary

JYSK Hungary participated in the 3-days-long garden exhibition, Garden Expo, where a wide range of the garden assortment were showcased at the JYSK booth. The exhibition was a great success as JYSK’s booth was one of the most popular ones and sales results for B2B and retail were very promising.

Urban garden oasis in Bulgaria

At the Residence of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark in Bulgaria, JYSK presented its new collection of garden furniture. The evening opened with a speech from Jes Brogaard Nielsen, Ambassador of Denmark to Bulgaria. Afterwards, Kristina Stankova, B2B Manager, and Ventsislav Chavdarov, Logistics Director at Distribution Centre Bozhurishte, presented expansion plans and latest news.

Flower meadow in Norway

JYSK Norway held a garden PR event inside an exhibition centre where 460 square metres was transformed into a flower meadow filled with gorgeous garden novelties from JYSK. Guests could enjoy afternoon tea with Martina Pohjanen, Country Director in Norway.

Anniversary in JYSK Türkiye

At the poolside venue of the Divan hotel, JYSK Türkiye celebrated its first anniversary, and the beginning of the garden season at the same time. Guests were invited to participate in astrology chats and candle workshops.

The Scandinavian roots blossom in Portugal

JYSK Portugal held an exclusive outdoor for guests to reinforce the Scandinavian roots. The event was held the Danish Ambassador's residence, where JYSK’s garden assortment decorated the large garden.

JYSK Spain at Casa Decor

During spring, JYSK Spain participated in Casa Decor, an exhibition for decoration and interior design in Madrid. The outdoor assortment was presented to more than 50,000 visitors who passed through ‘Casa Decor.’

Garden season has started in Finland

JYSK Finland celebrated the beginning of the garden season in four different locations and a nationwide PR event, where guests explored the new outdoor assortment.
