Double City Store opening in Finland
- On Thursday 23 August, Finland opened the doors to the first two City Stores in the country. With the two new stores located in Helsinki, JYSK now has a total of ten City stores across three countries.

“The opening day is a little bit of a blur”
- JYSK will open the first stores in Ireland next year, and preparations are already underway. “My future colleagues are in for a real adventure,” says Yannick Ellen, one of the first Store Managers in JYSK Belgium in 2017.
Mountain bike race with winners all around
- 13 employees from JYSK Sweden participated in Cykelvasan, 94 kilometres on mountain bike from Sälen to Mora, raising around 6,700 euro for Swedish paralympic talents.

- At age 25, Kristóf Kasza is now Store Manager in a store in Vizafogó in the northern part of Budapest, Hungary. His first visit to JYSK was at the job interview.

- JYSK Hungary achieved great results in this year’s employee satisfaction survey (ESS). According to Sándor Tóth, SMT in Vecsés, this shows that JYSK really cares about employees.
