JYSK stuffs emergency room teddies for children

A trip to the emergency room can be a gruelling experience, especially for children. But a soft and huggable teddy bear can sometimes be enough to make the visit into a better experience. Which is why 2,500 volunteers in the group “Emergency room teddy” in Denmark have been crocheting teddy bears for the country’s emergency rooms. 

JYSK is supporting the good cause by donating fabric remnants and cushion stuffing. To say thank you for the help, JYSK owner Lars Larsen has received a personal gift from the volunteers at Emergency room teddy: a crocheted edition of himself.

- As part of our support for cancer research, JYSK and Lars Larsen Group are donating 1 million kroner to the Danish Cancer Society, which has just held its annual fundraising show Knæk Cancer for the 14th time in collaboration with TV2.
