In five weeks, JYSK’s Executive Management Team (EMT) visited 50+ stores in 14 different countries and shook hands with thousands of colleagues.

Each year, JYSK’s Executive Management Team tours Europe to visit stores in every JYSK country organisation. The purpose of the field trips is to get closer to everyday life in the stores.

This year, the eight members from the EMT visited more than 50 JYSK stores in 14 different countries, shaking hands and exchanging high fives with thousands of store colleagues. During the field visits, the EMT could listen and learn from the store teams, who play a crucial role in maintaining the appealing and attractive look of the JYSK stores and who assist customers daily.

EMT had great dialogues with the colleagues, delving into the everyday life within JYSK stores, discussing initiatives and successful practices, and addressing areas that may need improvement.

- On 29 July 2025, Torben Thisgaard can celebrate his 40th anniversary at JYSK. Today, he works as Team Leader Operation at the Distribution Centre in Uldum (DCU), Denmark. However, his journey with JYSK began on Zealand at the age of just 18.
