Roundup from countries: Running for charity and staying active
Every now and then, we roundup recent events and activities from some of the JYSK Nordic countries. Check them out here.
west balkan
For the first time, a team of 18 colleagues from JYSK West Balkan took part in the international charity run Wings for Life World Run, a charity event supporting research in spinal cord injuries. The team ran a total of 229 kilometres.
Poland
In Poland, 32 JYSK colleagues also took part in Wings for Life. Together they ran a total of 447,7 kilometres, and the fastest JYSK runner was Robert Biernat.
Czech Republic & Slovakia
The HR department in JYSK Czech Republic & Slovakia held an influencer workshop, and HR Manager Jan Bek asked the participants to do the Usain Bolt pose to show that we are heading that the sky is the limit.
Bosnia & Herzegovina
In West Balkan, JYSK won one of the awards for Best Employer in Bosnia & Herzegovina. Retail Manager Ivan Protega had the honour of receiving the award on behalf of our company.
Finland
The Country Management Team in JYSK Finland had some exercise on fat bikes after a long day of meetings. Country Manager took this photo of HR Manager Leena Saario, Finance Manager Miina Juntunen, Retail Manager Tiina Palosaari and Retail Manager Leena Pakarinen.
Ukraine
JYSK Ukraine’s very own football team train once per week, and once every quarter, they also participate in a business league championship with other companies.
Hungary
JYSK participated with 6 teams, 79 runners and 3 cyclists - from a total of 5 JYSK countries: Hungary, Ukraine, Poland, West Balkan, the Czech Republic and Slovakia - for the ultimate race around Lake Balaton, the largest lake in Europe.
