JYSK introduces new pricing concept

Date:

Author: Martin Fyn Aamand, Head of Communications & PR

Category: Strategy

The new ”Everyday low price” concept ensures competitive prices at JYSK.

JYSK is well known for having great offers every week across all product groups.

From mid-March, customers will also be sure to always find competitive prices on a long list of products that will be labeled with the new “Everyday low price” logo. The new concept will replace the old PriceStar concept.

“The purpose of the new pricing concept is to make it easier for customers to navigate our prices. When a customer sees the ‘Everyday low price’ logo online, in a campaign paper or in a store, they can be sure that the price is always right, and that they can buy the product at the same price at anytime,” explains Rami Jensen, Executive Vice President of Business Development.

Which products are included?

The products in the “Everyday low price” concept will be handpicked by Purchasing on an ongoing basis. The concept is not fixed to specific categories but will be implemented across all product groups.

Basic products, such as tea lights and cleaning cloths, and highly competitive products, such as garden furniture, that JYSK needs to offer at great prices every day will be some of the categories included in the concept.

How will customers know what is included?

The new “Everyday low price” logo (which replaces PriceStar) will be visible to customers wherever they shop.

In stores, products are clearly marked with the logo on the shelf and/or price sign.
