The construction of JYSK’s new distribution centre in Bozhurishte, Bulgaria (DCB) is going according to plan.

Here you can see two aerial photos from the construction site, one from January 2018 and one from last summer:

300 new jobs

Contruction began on 30 May 2017, and once the distribution centre is finished, it will create approximately 300 permanent jobs in the area.

The distribution centre is expected to be ready for use in the autumn of 2018.

Facts about DCB

  • 2 high bays with a combined capacity of 121,632 pallets.
  • The high bays will be 166 metres long, 55 metres wide and 42.5 metres high.
  • The location means significant environmental advantages, as JYSK will save approx. 10 million trucking kilometres a year from goods sold in the Balkan area.
