All new JYSK stores will be 3.0 concept
More inspiration, better lighting and wooden floors will be among the improvements in new JYSK stores.
At the end of March, the JYSK store in Silkeborg, Denmark, received a distinguished visit.
Founder and owner of JYSK, Lars Larsen, made his way to the store in order to cut the ribbon for the re-opening of his hometown store, which had been re-designed according to the 3.0 concept.
The concept, which will now be the blueprint for all new JYSK stores, is a thorough innovation of JYSK's stores, which will offer customers more inspiration for interior design and hopefully make them buy a little extra.
"After successful experiences from the stores that already have the new concept, it has been decided that all future stores will be designed according to the 3.0 concept. In the long term, the plan is also that all existing stores will be re-designed with the new concept," says Carsten Nørgreen Weinkouff, Retail Development Director.
In addition to better exposure of the products, Retail Development, which has developed the new concept, has put emphasis on better lighting, nicer fixtures and easier overview of the stores.
