JYSK Ukraine reaches 50 stores

On Thursday 30 May 2019, JYSK Ukraine entered Dream Town – the shopping centre where store number 50 in the country is located.

JYSK Ukraine has reached the milestone of 50 stores in the country, and the new store is located in the shopping centre Dream Town in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine.

Store Manager Boroliuk Egor was very excited to welcome customers to the new and inspiring 3.0 store.

“The opening of store number 50 in Ukraine is a very significant achievement in the JYSK history. And I am very proud that I have a chance to be a part of it together with my colleagues,” says Boroliuk.

Scandinavian atmosphere

He started in JYSK in June 2018 as Store Administrator, and since then he has worked in a number of stores in Kiev to gather experience.

The final preparations for the opening began about a month ago, but Boroliuk has been looking forward to the opening for much longer.

“As soon as I heard about an anniversary opening of store number 50 in Kiev, I sent a request hoping to become Store Manager for the store. Now my next goal is to create a comfortable Scandinavian atmosphere in the store for the customers to experience together with my team,” he says.

15th anniversary coming up

Besides celebrating reaching 50 stores, Country Manager for JYSK Ukraine, Ievgenii Ivanytsia, can proudly look forward to celebrating JYSK Ukraine’s 15th anniversary in September.

“We plan to have a big celebration where we will close all stores in Ukraine for a couple of days. We will get together and celebrate our anniversary with our colleagues and thank them for their efforts and contribution to our success,” says Ievgenii.
