International JYSK support lines up for JYSK Morocco launch
- JYSK is set to expand into a brand-new market with the opening of its first stores in Morocco in April. To help make it a successful opening, experienced employees from several JYSK countries are coming together to provide retail and logistics support.
JYSK deploys electric trucks for container transport in Denmark
- JYSK and Dania Connect have started a collaboration on the use of electric trucks between the Port of Aarhus and JYSK's distribution centre in Uldum. It will reduce CO2e emissions by up to 37%.
IT becomes part of JYSK’s top management
- As part of strengthening JYSK’s IT development, the business area IT becomes part of the JYSK Executive Management Team. Chief Information Officer Keld Marott is promoted to Executive Vice President of IT.
Cotton products reach important goal
- From 2025, all newly purchased cotton used in JYSK's textile products comes from more sustainable cotton production instead of conventional cotton.

JYSK installs first column of new distribution centre in the Netherlands
- The placement of the first column in the construction of the new distribution centre in Lelystad, near Amsterdam in the Netherlands, marked a particularly important day for JYSK and its logistics team.
JYSK kicks off new sustainability strategy
- Today, JYSK launches the sustainability strategy “A Great Offer for Generations”. The internationally acclaimed Science Based Targets initiative has approved JYSK’s greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets.
JYSK opens stores not open to customers
- The first two will open in Ireland and Morocco.
JYSK saves 78 tonnes of plastic on curtains
- A change from plastic packaging to a cardboard bellyband on ready-made curtains will give a significant plastic reduction.
