When JYSK opens its two first stores in Belgium in April 2017, there are are certain challenges which are particular to the country.
- The first JYSK store in Georgia opened up its doors in the capital Tblisi on 1 October 2016.

- On 11 October 2016, JYSK’s West Balkans head office in Zagreb, Croatia received a visit from 20 students from Denmark.
