JYSK celebrates 40th anniversary with opening in Ireland
- 2 April 2019 it is 40 years since the first JYSK store opened in Aarhus. Since then expansion has been a cornerstone in JYSK, and therefore the anniversary is celebrated with the opening of the company’s first store in Ireland.

JYSK elected Best Employer in the Czech Republic and Slovakia
- Employees in the Czech Republic and Slovakia are very pleased with JYSK as an employer. This was confirmed when the company won the award “Best Employer 2018” in a big survey performed by the HR agency AON.
“The differences give us a lot to talk about”
- The new team in JYSK Ireland consists of many different nationalities. An internal Cross-culture JYSK Values and Leadership training was held in February, so the new colleagues could get to know JYSK and each other better before opening the first store on 2 April.
JYSK celebrated as 'Investor of the Year' in Bulgaria
- With an investment of more than 100 million EUR in a brand new distribution center in Bozhuristhe near Sofia, JYSK has invested heavily in Bulgaria. Thursday March 7 this was rewarded when JYSK received the prize as 'Investor of the Year' in Bulgaria

Roni swaps snowy Finland for green Ireland
- As Head of Retail, Roni Tuominen from Finland is first in line of JYSK’s expansion to Ireland.

- Slobodanka Subic will be Store Manager in the very first JYSK store in Ireland and she looks forward to introducing JYSK in Ireland.
Danish ambassador participates in Greek store opening
- Klavs Holm, the Danish ambassador to Greece, cut the ribbon the the 23rd JYSK store in Greece.
